My family (my extended family) had a huge birthday party for my Grandma Lyman. It was her 90th Birthday. We all went up to Delta and had the party inbetween conference sessions. I really love getting together with my moms side of the family. Even though there are 148 of us in all (aunts, uncles, grandkids, and great grandkids) we are all so close to each other and our family gatherings are always a blast. Like I said before her ... My Grandma Lyman is the big 9 0 . Even though that is her age you wouldn't know it. She looks so young for her age, she is still active and her sense of humor has never faded. She is an amazing woman and a huge role model in my life. Here are some of the pictures from the big day!

October 2nd (Friday) was my last day with my first graders. I am going to miss them so much but it was so fun to be with them for 6 weeks. On my last day they surprised me with a book they made for me as a class and a root beer float party. It was so fun. It's just a fun age to be with. I wasn't able to take a picture with the class before I left but I took some pictures of some of the pages of the book they made me so you can understand why I'm going to miss them so much. Here are a few of the pictures from the book they made me. I hope you can read their writing and see their drawings well...it shows up kind of light on the camera.

Haha, Bib, this was not a long post. You want long post, go check out my blog. I would demand that you write more, but I do understand the time constraints. You grandma looks cool, that party reminds me of my grandma's 80th party in January, though that grandma has like... 40 descendants, not one hundred and some odd. That's way cool, I bet she felt super awesome. I would.
